Turbo Mopar Resources
The websites, communities, manuals, and technical rabbit holes helping me understand a 1985 Chrysler Town & Country Turbo.
The internet remembers.
One of the surprising things about owning an old Chrysler is discovering how much knowledge is still floating around online.
Some of it lives on modern social media. Some of it lives on websites that look like they survived three decades of internet history.
This page collects the Turbo Mopar resources I've found while learning how this wagon works and how to care for it.
TurboVan.net
If I could only recommend one Turbo Mopar resource, this would be it.
TurboVan.net is a surviving maze of Turbo Mopar build notes, modification details, technical links, and early-internet Chrysler history.
Despite the name, much of the information applies directly to turbocharged Chrysler cars and wagons.
Useful Places
TurboVan.net
One of the most complete surviving Turbo Mopar archives on the internet.
Visit Resource →RockAuto
Still one of the best places to find maintenance and replacement parts for these cars.
Visit RockAuto →Car-Part.com
Nationwide salvage yard inventory search for hard-to-find wagon parts.
Visit Car-Part →Facebook Marketplace
Great for donor vehicles, trim pieces, replacement parts, and local finds.
Browse Marketplace →Turbo Mopar Forums
Years of technical discussions, troubleshooting, build threads, and shared experience from Turbo Mopar owners.
Visit The Forums →Showroom Sunday Archive
Brochures, advertisements, pricing guides, and Chrysler history.
Browse Archive →Resources I'm Still Looking For
Part of the fun of this project is finding information that Chrysler probably never expected people to still be using forty years later.
Why Save These Resources?
Old websites disappear.
Forums shut down.
Photo links break.
Documentation gets lost.
Part of this project is preserving the information that helps keep these cars on the road.
If a resource helps me understand the wagon, it belongs in this library.
